Choosing the right paper to make our own water colour invites

Hi all,

We want to make our own invitations using water colour. We will also hand-write them ourselves. Is anyone else doing this and would like to share ideas, or can recommend a certain type of paper? We will have 40 guests, and a lot of couples, so there will only be about 25 or so to make.

Well I am guessing if you are going to use water color you should use water color paper. I don't know of any other paper that will 'take' water color as well. I would also test your writing utensil on the paper to make sure it doesn't bleed. Also practice the size of your writing so that what you write is legible. When you are done making them you should post pictures, your invites sound like they will be very pretty.
