I've been wanting to get back into writing. I have a large group of friends who do this thing every year, so I figured, why the hell not.
So, I found all of my old writing notebooks from college. Holy, wow. I forgot how much I really used to write. I have at least 4 plays that were in rough completed stages, pages and pages of ideas, character sketches, research, etc.
Also, some of it that I just wrote down phrases at the time to remind myself and now I have no clue. So far, "goldfish suicides" is my favorite. I think I know what that was about, considering the list it's in, but I was still cracking myself up last night. Also, "Beggar Magic Man", "Baby Malone", monks going mad making books (this one has fascinated me for years, it might be my project), an obituary signed by "Grandpa's Gang" and a lot of other young angry feminist Varuna musings. It's been enjoyable to look back through.
