    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Last year guests paid in 67 million dollars. HF grossed 2.1 million dollars and after operating costs and taxes, this couple netted $215,000. We should start telling this to everyone who asks why they shouldn't have one!

    That's it??  I'd expect it would have made more.  Disappointed in those profits, for the owners.  You shouldn't need to ask investors for money with a site that huge.
