I have exactly one week until I go back to work! Given that I slept 11 hours last night and rarely get out of my PJs, this will be an interesting event!

At the end of the day, it's exciting to go back. I miss it and, most importantly, it means I'm alive!

No, I've been given a desk job, as I have restrictions in place through January. However, I have decided that my past on-the-go lifestyle was one of the reasons I got sick, so I'm going to seek out opportunities that require minimal travel instead of being gone for a year at a time. I do not want to be away from home so much.

Oh, and I'm an Engineering Program Manager. I oversee various contracts and manage staffing, budget, schedule, and technical performance.

I did ask my manager if I could wear yoga pants to work until I lose my steroid weight. I'm waiting to hear back on that.

If I want to see my DH, I need to move to TX! Lol we're never together. I am hoping to move by Spring.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I've been sick the last few days with a random fever, which no one can explain. So, I'm crossing my fingers that I can get through this week at work with no incident.
