I always thought it would be the opposite. But nope. All popular kitchen electronics, mixers, knives etc of the exact same brand were way cheaper and more easily accessible on WS website. Are my eyes deceiving me?

Glad it worked out for you. I was annoyed when a family friend registered at one store that had the same items and knowingly registered at the more expensive one for the name. Super lame. I ended up buying the gifts for 50% off on Amazon for the same exact item.

See, that's just stupid. I mean, why not at least attempt to get reasonable pricing on your registry items. Once I had the registries online, I did the comparison and started swapping things to the list with the most sensible price. For Bloomingdales, I'm mainly doing the decorative items, plates that I could not find anywhere else and some bedding. If no one buys there, well we use the completion discount and we are all set.

That's why I am registering at kohls and Macy's. I almost feel bad about Macy's!!!

My mom encouraged us to register at Crate and Barrel, which I didn't want to because I felt like it is one of  the more expensive stores, EVERYTHING on that registry was purchased. Every single thing. So weird.
