Re: Spam Help

  • @KnotRiley- tagged you in another post about this. Is this the same poster from the other say who is with TK?

@paperpusher- there is a legitimate casting call through TK that is ongoing. She isn't going about it the best way, but Knot Riley can confirm if this is her or not.

  • @novella1186 - there is a guy at work who makes this what he calls garbage casserole.  It was really tasty.  Until I found out he uses spam.  Ick.

@Jells2dot0 - Thanks.  If it truly is legit I would hope someone can tell her how to change her username so it doesn't look like she IS a spammer.

  • It's her, I've asked her not to post on the boards and only go through me but apparently that was not made clear enough. I'm sorry for her spamming your walls.
  • novella1186 ME TOO hahaha

  • We used to eat Spam a lot when I was a kid. Lots and lots of Spam omelettes and fried Spam since it was cheap. My grandma used to make macaroni soup with whatever vegetable bits she had around and Spam. It was delicious.

We had it a lot as a kid too and now I just can't. I'll throw up over it. Once I got into my teens, my parents would cook it and excuse me from having to eat it, I just had to figure out myself what I would eat instead. Totally cool, I'll eat PB&J forever rather than touch Spam again lol

  • I thought it was about Spam the food too.

You can use it almost like bacon bits. Hawaiians use it a lot, in dishes and by itself. One time I went to an Emeril's restaurant and I had a spam crusted mahi, and it was heavenly. It added the saltiness and a little meatiness.
