WTF...thus far, 2 people have gone home sick...

(I've absorbed their jobs for the day/week--hence me saying I'd be bored and not being)
and the faculty person I was chatting w/ this morning left, and promptly collapsed w/ chest pains and is @ the (luckily, very good) local hospital's ER.

WTF?
(Also, I really *really* wanted to take a sickie tomorrow to see my chiro and stay home on flexeril.  But since I'm probably absorbing those 2 jobs for tomorrow too, I can't.  Or, I could, but it will greatly inconvenience a ton of people and will screw over student workers who won't be allowed to work so won't get paid.
So unless I get worse, I'm hobbling my sorry ass in tomorrow)

    Leaving early would have screwed up cramming students (we were the only open quiet study place nearby) and my workers (who are hourly and have to have someone to report to, or else they get sent home w/o pay)...
    But today I came in an hour late and I am hitting the door running at 5, I am DONE with this week already in my head :)
