Indoor venues with a lot of natural light?

I'm searching in vain for an indoor venue in the Portland/Vancouver area for an indoor venue that is #1 Pretty and #2 has a lot of natural light (i.e. big windows!) to make photographs easy (everyone looks better in natural light, right?). The windows CAN'T be behind where we're going to stand to get married (back-lighting..ew, yeah, not unless we want pics of shadows getting married...)

I feel like I did a lot of research but haven't really found what I'm looking for! Is there any place that you guys can recommend? We're looking at about a 20-30 mile radius around the heart of Portland.

The World Trade Center is the first place that came to mind.  OMSI does events as well and they have nice big windows.  What about Portland City Grill?  I don't know if they do weddings, but you could ask.

Have you looked into the North Star Ballroom?

Try the Ainsworth House & Gardens.  You get married in the back lawn in front of this beautiful tree, and then the reception would take place in the "conservatory" which is like a big vaulted sun room.  Very cute and classy.  Check it out:  http://www.ainsworthhouse.net/

Definitely check them out.  I don't know why I didn't think of it since Kevin (the owner) is a good friend of mine.  Sometimes I'm an idiot <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />  I know they were starting an addition, not sure what's going on with that, but definitely worth contacting him.  You should go see it at Christmas time, his decor is amazing.

Portland's White House Bed and Breakfast! Excellent venue, they take care of everything!
