Bridal Plasty on Netflix

Has anyone else enjoyed this train wreck?? We ditched cable so I survive solely off Netflix and just found this series. Ummm... There aren't adequate words.

@pinkcow13 It's a show where a bunch of brides-to-be are in a competition. Each of them comes into it with a list of plastic surgery they want done and you can win procedures by winning challenges. Each week someone gets surgery and someone goes home. I've tried to watch it but, to me, it's really sad to see how unhappy these women are with themselves. It also doesn't help that they are all portrayed as shallow, materialistic, and catty people (which they might be if they are on reality TV show that gives away plastic surgery so they can be the *perfect* bride).

That's insane! So, does the "winner" end up looking completely different from when she started? I wonder how the fiances feel about this.

Yeah the fiancé doesn't see his winning bride until the day of the wedding. What bothers me the most is that these women seem to feel they deserve to have this "perfect" body for their wedding, and oh how horrible it would be if they had to leave without their surgeries!!! I'm on winter break so these shows fill my days lol

This show is amazing and also terribly sad. 

These women (who look completely FINE) want like 100 surgeries. I watched a bunch of episodes a while ago, 

I distinctly remember a woman who was slightly overweight who had lipo on her arms, and I thought; you know what? Instead of intensive pain and healing time you could have healthily went to the gym for a few months to get those results. She also would have gained some new habits and the weight would stay off. 

I wondered what the fiancé's thought of this drama.

I have watched the entire series, it was my guilty pleasure...

While the theme of the show is terrible, I am a huge fan of trashy reality shows. This one definitely takes the cake! I think it's hilarious(ly sad).

That show is definitely something else. I'm not surprised that they cancelled it after one season. I enjoyed the drama and cattiness that came with the brides, but I hated the message of the show. I just think it's upsetting that they wanted so bad to "fix" themselves in order to get married when their future spouse obviously loved them the way they are.

I'm pretty sure most of the contestants were there to get their wedding paid for, and were okay with that including plastic surgery.
