Procrastination - The Good & The Bad

I'm not really a procrastinator.  But- I've done it twice so far in my wedding planning process and it's PAID OFF!

First, I put off looking for a dress for a month once my planner said I should get started.  The dress I ended up with was sent to the salon I bought from the day before my appointment!!!  I would never have found it if I'd started looking earlier.

And today, I ordered from Vistaprint and they had an online sale; 35% off site wide!  I was going to order yesterday and got busy, then didn't feel like doing it at home, so I jumped on the site today and behold.... a SALE!!!!

When has procrastinating worked for you or against you - in wedding planning or in life?

    Nice!!

    I'm a terrible procrastinator.  I'm REALLY good at finding excuses as to why "this can wait" or "I'll do it later".  My Christmas shopping did not get done until after Christmas.  Oops.

    Procrastinating almost always works against me.  When I was in high school/early college it was my muse for papers.

    I don't really have any stories about procrastinating but I am a HUGE procrastinator, I don't think it has ever benefited me though."Procrastinators unite tomorrow!" I'm pretty sure I read that on a shirt in Yellow Rat Bastard years ago and it has stuck ever since.

    I can only really think of one time at work. I work in loss prevention, and some of my work had piled up, so when I finally did go through it, I noticed a pattern of one of our associates that looked a bit suspicious. Anyways, turned out she was stealing and we fired her. I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't gone through so much of her stuff all at once. It is usually more spread out/harder to catch.

     

    Usually it doesn't end up well, and I'm just franticly trying to catch up lol.
