If you may recall, I normally have 5 or 6 folks who work for
me--all of whom add to my workload...and then I have one worker who is
the 'assistant'-- who helps with my workload--by doing
tasks when I ask, but mostly, by covering the center I work in so I can do
things like take bathroom breaks and walk away to do other stuff and eat
lunch--without leaving the room unattended.
I haven't had a gatekeeper for close to a year/
I have one. Nice young man. Starts next Tuesday.
Reduced hours (because, budget and government rules), limited availability, but, still like 15 hours a week of real TIME!
