Hey all, I know I've been a little MIA lately my only excuse is finals and holiday stuff. I've been in AZ visiting both mine and FI's family for Christmas and NYE. I'm at the airport now waiting for my flight back to Chicago.
I really need some good vibes sent my Nana's way. She called my mom on Sunday to tell her that she had been in the hospital since Friday. Apparently she got really sick and they only found out on Sunday what was wrong. She had Pancreatitus (sp?) and the really bad fever and everything else caused her kidneys to shut down. Her kidneys had been getting better, but today we were told that they had to put her on Dialysis and that her liver is now not working properly. She also has some preexisting heart problems so this is even more complicated. She may be in the hospital for a long time.
I'm super worried. They live in Michigan, so me and FI often go over there for long weekends and smaller holidays to see them. I've become really close to her since becoming an adult and just want her to be ok.
I'm going to try and be out there tommorow, but my semseter starts on Monday, so it's going to be tight.
I know you ladies kickass at sending awesome vibes, she could use the help. TIA
