Photo Shoot on the Vegas Strip - Limo Party Bus

I need some help! I feel like the only bride in the world whose biggest problem when planning her wedding is finding a party bus without a stripper pole.

I really want to do a Strip photo shoot and have already booked the photography so all that's left is the transportation.

There are going to be about ten of us, but I want a party bus to enable easy access for getting in and out / more room rather than a limo. We don't want a Stripper pole which is apparently harder than you would think. I know a lot of people use DDB but its too big for what I need and not quite what I'm envisaging.

I do like the bus which AWG Ambassador offers but there are two things making me nervous:
1) they said they don't have a contract for what I want just a 24hour cancellation policy and I would prefer to know up front all the terms and conditions which they are going to try to apply if something happens and what happens if they cancel on me? I don't feel I'd have any recourse.
Is it normal not to have a contract from limo party bus hire? My fiance is a contracts lawyer and he isn't happy about it.

2) When I explained what I wanted it for they said that the party bus is mine to do with what I want as long as I stay in Las Vegas - they will drop me off where ever, but I don't feel confident in giving directions to the driver and I'm not sure whether the driver will have ever done a Strip photo tour before.
If I wanted my photos taken at for example the Bellagio fountains - do they just drop you off at the hotel and then you walk down or is it a case of them dropping you closer on side streets? How do they know when to collect you?

If anyone could recommend a limo party bus without a stripper pole AND/OR provide details of the logistics of doing a photo tour I'd be so grateful!!

Re: Photo Shoot on the Vegas Strip - Limo Party Bus

  • Hey there! We are doing a tour with Earth Limos. They have only sent us an official-looking confirmation e-mail, no contract. Think of it like a hair coloring appointment! It can be about the same amount of money anyways... :)

I'm also curious about your question #2, I'm not clear on how the drop offs and pick ups work for each location, If there is a lot of walking, that's a game changer for some of my guests. Hoping someone else can chime in!
  • I'd never done it for a wedding, but both FI and I and my parents and I have taken the limo tours of the Strip with photo stops and both times, the limo parked right outside the lobby entrances and the driver escorted us to a place to take the best photos (VERY nearby). The limo drivers we had both times were outstanding about getting you very close and would even clear out crowds. The one we had when FI and I did it even escorted us into some of the hotels to show us stuff (like the crazy pool at the Golden Nugget on Fremont, which I would never have seen otherwise.)

  • Thanks for the replies!

You've made me feel better faith4keep - I suppose I book appointments all the time without written contracts, it is just this one is so important to me. I'm really paranoid about booking the limo because I've over-analysed the reviews for all the limo companies, I've managed to read at least one review which has given me niggling doubts about all the companies.

Amelisha - your driver sounds amazing!!
  • Just a quick update - I now have a confirmation email which is exactly what I was looking for. The person I've been speaking to has been really helpful and responsive.

I'm still really interested in everyone's experience of where you get dropped off and picked up from when going to the iconic sights?
