Is it just my two kiddos or everyone's today?

Ok so simple task of cleaning bathroom, turned it they no longer know how to do it. And then when you give suggestion they look at you like your the dumb one and let's not talk about the attitude that comes Long with it. So is it something in the air?

Re: Is it just my two kiddos or everyone's today?

  • Nope, they sound like all 5 of mine sounded.  Guess that means they are normal - which isn't always the best thing....
  • I would send them outside but it's raining and they are afraid they might melt
  • That sounds like FSS yesterday. Told him he couldn't got to his friend till the dishes were done. Cue the crying, negotiating, dramatic sighs. My favorite part was when he pointed out I hadn't done the dishes all week. FI was awesome and pointed out I easily spent 10 hours this week in the kitchen so like hell should I have to do dishes too.

One load of dishes took the kid two hours. We finally let him leave just to find all the pots and pans were either in the oven "to get the out of the way" or on my front porch "so the dog could eat the leftovers". Kid is gonna have a long week of staying at home.

What a little shit.  Isn't he a teenager?  And he cries when he can't play with his friend?

Wow that's pretty terrible. I was doing dishes from a super young age and a lot of other chores too. I hated it sometimes but hiding dishes is clearly not going to work. Did he think you wouldn't notice?

  • The hiding the dishes outside is bad, mine just hide in their rooms like I won't find them
