Wedding Vows & Ceremony Discussions

ceremony in a park where it's not allowed

i'm considering a wedding site at a park where they don't allow it or offer officlal permits.  there are docents in the park who told us unoffically for small weddings we should just go for it.  my ideal wedding ceremony would be some place in the forest or outdoors and this place is so amazing.  it would only be our ceremony and we'd have the reception somewhere else.  but... i'm concerned:
1) it will cause too much strees on the day of for me and the guests
2) people will have to walk about 10 minutes on a flat, well-manicured trail to get there and is that too far?
3) we will ask each guest to bring with them a small foldable stool for sitting.  is that too much to ask for guests attending?
4) it might be windy, and cold - is it better to just find a place more suitable?
5) would i feel too rushed to really get what i want out of the ceremony?

It's a beautiful site, but will is it a good idea?  i love it because we'll be out in the forest, but i'm concerned for those reasons above.  thoughts? advice?
