Help with recs for an affordable dupe of this Lazaro dress?

Hello knowledgeable ladies!

My friend is looking for a wedding dress and would love to find something similar to this, but under $1000:

Top: lace or beaded bodice, sweetheart neckline preferred
Bottom: Soft satin or charmeuse. Relaxed and not too structured.  No tulle or lace.
Silhouette: Fit & flare.  No A-line or ball gown.
Belt: Flexible, as she can look for this separately.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!  THANK YOU!!

  • I might have time to look later, but in general, stay away from Chinese knock off sites. They basically steal pictures from legit designers, tell you that you can get the "same" dress for a couple hundred bucks and then send you a piece of junk that's poorly made with crappy materials.

You get what you pay for. Your friend needs to keep that in mind as she shops.

  • have her try some pre owned wedding sites.  I think the knot is one.
  • Jovani and Sherri Hill do a lot of white with beaded bodices.  They're evening/pageant collection not wedding, but the only thing that makes a dress "bridal" is the bride wearing it, so it could definitely be a more affordable solution.  La Femme and Mori Lee make white beaded pageant gowns for less than Jovani and Sherri Hill, but the quality won't be as good.  Tony Bowls falls between.  Pageant girls love white, so if you're looking for a more evening silhouette in white, pageant dresses could work.

For example, this is sold a pageant dress, not bridal, but for the right wedding, could definitely be wedding:
