FH and I decided to go up a day earlier to spend time together. :)

Flamingo - A: Lanora was our group reservation person. She was great and really accommodating when we wanted to add on an extra day. She was also able to get guests a lower rate about a month out and updated all the reservations to reflect that. Once we arrived there was no line and we were quickly checked-in. I did the $20 trick and asked if there were any complimentary upgrades. The gentleman was super nice and got us into a classic mini-suite. He then gave back the $20 and said he knew how expensive weddings were :) I loved having a bigger room (with a view of the high roller) as we had lots of guests arrive and not be able to check-in yet so they were able to put their items in our room and hangout. The only issue we had were the elevators. The spa elevators only had 2 working so it took FORVER for some guests to meet us at times because they were waiting so long.

Joe's - B: I was sort of disappointed in Joe's as it appeared to more romantic than it really was. They put us on the patio that was in the mall so not much privacy. The food was really delicious though. I had the broccolini and steak and FH had fried shrimp and crab cake. Service was good. Would likely go back when we had more time. We were a bit rushed as we had to go back to Flamingo to get our car from valet and then head to the airport.

Skyline Tours - B: I decided to surprise my FH with a night strip tour. I found it on Groupon. I did not read the fine print and there was a $25 airport fee and then we tipped the pilot so it was more than I anticipated but seeing the look on his face was priceless. It was REALLY windy on Tuesday but that didn't seem to effect our flight too much. I would HIGHLY recommend this to all couples. It was so romantic and fun!

Marriage Bureau- A: We were in an out in no time. We went at about 10pm so there was only 1 couple in front of us. We did do the pre-application which in my opinion really sped up the process.

We spent the rest of the evening doing welcome bags and just making sure everything was set for the rest of the week :)

  • I love the idea of being the host for guests arriving day-of in your suite! What a wonderful idea. :)

  • One other note about Flamingo...I didn't read the fine print (nor did my guests) but there is a $50/night incidental hold....this threw some people off as they did not budget for the "extra" $200 to come out of their account.

  • I have been anxiously awaiting your reviews and to read all the excitement @hmgiffor! And Woah.. I had no idea about the $50 a night incidental hold either.. Hopefully, everyone does a CC and not checking account.
  • Yea Lanora our contact said that they could request to have a lower hold amount and just turn off charging privilages so that's what we told them to do or use a CC for the incidentals and their debit for the rest.
