Looking for non-catering hall type of venue

Hi!

I'm looking for non-catering hall type of venue on Long Island or just outside of the city.  No hotels or banquet halls.  Any suggestions???

Thanks!!

Try Hempstead House, Aircraft museum, also a lot of public libraries, opera houses and mansions allow weddings. Also, lots of vineyards and barns allow them too. Good luck

Yes to Brecknock Hall.  I love it!  We are getting married there this summer. Not at all like a catering hall.  Simply gorgeous.

Try the Woodlands in Woodbury.  It is an all Mansion that was built in the 1920's.  It does not feel like a catering hall at all.

I looked at the Chelsea Mansion in Muttontown.  It's really great. Feels the exact opposite of a catering hall.
