I don't like preprinted thank you notes for anything. If I take the time to buy a gift for you, you can take the time to write me a thank you note. 

Not much here today. H and I went elliptical shopping this afternoon. We are waiting for a call back from the store to confirm they have what I want at the warehouse. If they don't, it will be October before I can get one. Ugh! I had my MRI on my hip yesterday and see the doc again tomorrow. I know I can't use our treadmill now (or maybe ever again) so I really want this elliptical. I know FWPs!

I have a frittata in the oven baking. It used up a few of our leftovers out of the fridge. I love it when I do that!

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. I think you can tell how I feel about them without my having to elaborate further.

@VarunaTT , I'm so sorry you're going through all that crap at work.

My work isn't much better. My boss made me spend 3 hours redoing my workpapers on a project even though there was nothing the fuck wrong with them! She kept bitching about how "they don't mean anything" to her. Just likes another formatting better, even though mine gave her exactly the same fucking information as the one she likes. What a fucking waste of time.

Okay, that's enough self-pity for one day.

Some nice things: for years I've been looking for certain sheet music and I finally found it for some pieces that I like. And I finally got my fiddle taken care of (problems with the pegs that kept making it go out of tune). So tomorrow night I can try out the music for the first time. Kind of small, but still, good news is good news. I got to be in an online reading of Henry VIII last night and might get to be in more Shakespeare this weekend.

Omg generic pre-printed thank you's are gross.  Although, in my now over a decade knowing H's family, and never having received a thank you for ANYthing (weddings, birthdays, sacraments, graduations, showers), the generic thank you almost says "I know i should be thanking you and I took the time to put a stamp on this card and walk to the mailbox".  That's how jaded I've become. Still hate them though.

pre printed thank you notes are gross.  It also annoys me when couples wait like 6 months+ to send them because they NEED to have a picture of themselves on the front.  At least they're sending one, but just do it timely - they get thrown away anyway. 

I do write on all the Xmas cards I send too though

LMAO!  For what?  I’m not framing that card.  Now if you sent one with a pic of ME on it, I might.

I like that! It's very thoughtful.
