Working today. In the CPA world, July 15 is the new April 15, at least for 2020.

At least I have a job.

Yeah, I just got informed yesterday that I got a promotion I applied for (wahoo!) which means that even though it is quiet now, I'm about to have a whole whack of new duties very soon, and that might start later today.  I hope your day doesn't get too crazy!  You'll have enough of that in the next few weeks I'm sure.

Getting stuff done around the house today. I just made a batch of asparagus cheese puffs to freeze and take to DD. I think the boys will like them either as part of lunch or a snack (they don't usually have snacks though). They are delicious. I'll be keeping some for me to have in the freezer when I need an appetizer to take to something - whenever I can go to something again!

H is working on refinishing the rest of the bed set from Mom. It is looking really good. I'm glad he has found something he enjoys doing.

Working today too. It was busy this morning, but seems to have slowed down a bit. Hopefully I'll be able to log off early.

Waving hi from PTO!

We went out and bought an arm chair for the nursery. It’s the first place I’ve been in since early March (besides my Dr) and I was surprised how good people were. All masked, keeping distance, hand sanitizer everywhere. Final piece of nursery furniture bought!
