A baby equipment question

Hello all. I have a question about strollers. DD is expecting a baby in the spring. The twins will be almost 3 years old. They have a twin stroller which they use a lot going to parks around their town. Do any of you know of a stroller configuration for older twins and a singleton infant? They have a chicco key fit infant seat that they will be using with the baby so would need something compatible with that. Thanks for your help.

Re: A baby equipment question

  • My daughter has a friend in this situation. She puts the twins in the stroller and carries the baby in an Ergobaby infant carrier on her chest.
  • I’ve heard a lot of good things about the mockingbird single to double stroller for multiple kids, but I don’t know about threes!

We @maine7mob we have an Ergo and we love it! H uses it daily with the baby.
  • @charlotte989875, my daughter has one, too, but she only has one baby so far!

  • She will probably carry the new one in a carrier for a bit but it will get awfully hot in the summer. She has a city mini side by side stroller but isn't sure how well the standing platform will fit on one side of that. This is when actually going into a store and being able to try things out would be helpful but not ready to do that just yet.

  • Congrats to your DD!  Yay more grandbabies for you.

  • City Mini double with the standing attachment is easier to maneuver than the Uppa Baby Vista double with standing attachment.  (And it's half the cost.)  Though the latter has a lot more under-stroller room, if that's important to her.  Although my needs were reverse, my twins were younger and needed the stroller seats, so the one platform worked the oldest.
Congrats to your DD and the whole family!

Was that the city mini double side by side or front to back? She has the side by side. Thanks for the congrats. We are super excited.

The side by side.  (Fewer fights over who got the cooler seat closer to the ground..)
  • A friend had a triple running stroller for her mix of older/baby although I can't imagine using it other than exercise bc of how wide it must be.  I agree with PPs that I'd look for a glider board attachment if one is compatible with her stroller
