I got a weird e-mail this morning from the Orleans Parish Assessor's office.  About an "update on my appeal".  I appealed the two properties I've been renovating LAST year and won my appeal.  I log into my account and it looks like the assessor's office is going to review them AGAIN.  But I discovered something else.  Someone, somewhere made a huge mistake on recording the sale(s)!

These are separate lots, separate properties.  There were also two different Purchase Agreements and I bought each one for a different amount, because one of them needed a new roof.  But I bought them both from the same seller at the same time.  I was also able to combine them on the same loan, which is actually pretty unusual, but my lender was able to do it for me.

However, each duplex is showing that it was sold for the TOTAL price that was for both of them.  I'm not sure how to fix that or if I even want to.  I'm mulling it over.

On other news, NOLA is now officially out of the Hurricane Delta cone.  Yes!  Though we do have a tropical storm warning.  We're not even predicted to have more than 1" of rainfall,, though it is supposed to be storming tomorrow because of the storm.  WFH is doubtful.  But I am trying to get all my "Fri." stuff done today.  Fri. is my half day and It's supposed to get really bad in the afternoon, so I want to make sure I leave on time.

Hope everyone else is having a great "almost Friday" day.
