Yes, I need the wedding and reception to be at the same location. I would prefer somewhere off of IH 10.

Someone mentioned The Phoenix Rising in Weimar? Does anyone know about that location?

Hi clinscomb, You should check out The Phoenix just west of Columbus off of I-10. Our ceremony is going to take place under a ring of oak trees. Not only are the gorgeous, but they also provided much needed shade in the Texas heat. The reception is just yards away on the same site. My favorite part is that I get Thursday to decorate!! Which gives me plenty of time to get the reception exactly how I want it. Let me know if you have anymore questions! Good Luck with you and your daughter's search!

I like the option of having Thursdays to decorate and it sounds beautiful. I think I will be checking into The Phoenix in Weimar. Thanks for your help.

Ours was at The Gallery.  Ceremony outside and reception was partly outside, mostly inside.  It was amazing!

Yeah, with Thursday to decorate. I'm hoping to have Friday and Saturday to relax and enjoy spending time with my bridal party and family. Add if there are more details I want to add, there will be plenty of time for trips to craft stores and what not. Hope that helps! Good Luck with the search!

When I contacted The Phoenix, they also said there are 3 guestrooms that are part of the wedding weekend package. That was a plus I hadn't thought about! I'm planning on visiting The Phoenix soon with my daughter!
