*Verona

I was looking through your pics and your wall color in your house caught my attention. That is exactly what we have been looking for to paint our living room. Do you know the name of paint color or was it already painted when you moved in? Thanks a bunch!

there are two colors (the darker colors are accent walls) one is SW "functional gray" and the other one is (and I hate telling people because it took me so long to find but alas) it is called benjamin moore "smoked oyster". Our MB is painted that color as well.

I didn't realize there were two colors until I went back and looked again. Maybe because I was just glancing through last night. Your home is gorgeous. :) Thanks for the paint colors. We are still flipping back and forth on just doing the living room or saying "screw it" and doing the entire house besides the bedrooms. We have dark brown and dark black furniture and accent pieces so we've been looking for a brown - gray for a while. Everywhere we go to get gray they push us to the blue gray.

functional grey is a true neutral grey without blue, purple or any undertones really. Smoked Oyster does have a more purple undertone, but it is so rich. I love that color so much, that I will definitely use it in out next home in some way.

I love gray! I probably lean more towards the blueish gray, though. I registered for dark gray bedding, and cant wait to paint my room to match. Verona - can you tell me more about the person who re-finished the hutch on your web site? I have a piece of furniture I would like to have some work done on, but I am having a difficult time finding someone. Do they only do re-finishing, or do they do wood working at all? I want to turn an antique dresser into a dressing table.
