Paper Lanterns

So... I'm going to throw this out there... Does anyone need any paper lanterns or paper parasols... all kinds of sizes and colors... I wanted to order some to decorate for my engagement party, but didn't order enough to make the minimum order... Just thought I'd help someone out if anyone needed any of this stuff...You can email me, I'll send you the electronic catalog...christine.dallasembroidery at hotmail

Oooo Red Works.  Can I buy them from you?  I was going to use a Fuschia, but red works too... its just the engagement party tea ceremony part.  I still have the wedding to get too later...How did you decorate for this?  Did you have a separate engagment or all at once?I opted for all at once, but I was overruled by FMIL...

We didnt do an engagement party, we just did the tea ceremony the morning of the wedding.  I know some parents who feel like you have to have the engagement party as an official "we are getting married" thing. I have 3 different sizes of the lanterns and just strung them through fishing line.  If the ceiling in the house weren't so high I would have done different heights scattered across the ceiling.  I didn't do much to decorate the tea ceremony and the rest of the stuff was the traditional red and gold dragon and phoenix stuff (ugh), but I had to do it to appease my mother. Are you getting married in Houston?

I'm getting married in Dallas, but live here in Houston.  My entire family lives up there and I'm the lone one down here for work and FI.  I didn't like the whole dragon thing so I'm being proactive and trying to find pink and red decorations of a different style before it gets too late and I'm stuck with whatever FMIL purchased from who knows where...My parents preferred to do it all at once... it just saves time and money... but well... whatever...

Well I can definitely sell them to you.  I have alot like 50 lanterns or so.  Do you know how many you need? I don't like the dragon and phoenix stuff either.  My mom about threw a fit that I didn't have them on my ao dai.  hahah but I was not about to wear that around.

I can sell all of them, but let me make sure how many I have.  I bought some online and some locally.  I have 8, 10, and 12 inches ones.  I think I have about 30 8 inch ones and 10 of the other two sizes.  I'll let you know how much I would hope to sell them for.  Many of them were not even used.  I ended up only using like 20.
