Can I continue to gush here?  I've never felt luckier than I did yesterday.  Abbie was sick and after still waiting at noon for an 11:15 appt i had to get home to get some work out by 12:30.  Chris dropped everything and came and sat with her so I could leave.  As soon as she saw him she ran to him and said, daddy i don't feel good and snuggled in his lap.  I feel so blessed to have found him not only for me, but for her since her assh*le "dad" took off when she was 3 months old not to be heard from since.  Sometimes I think I love him more just because of the way her loves her. aw, gudda gudda.

--every once and a while he will text or email me a sweet poem--When I was in school (night classes) he would have a coke on ice in the fridge for me--not really something he does, but when he wears a cap backwards I just meeeeeeeeelt it brings me back to when we met. But he knows this so he tends to do this when i am mad at him, also something i love because its so cute.

I love this thread!!*always cleans my car when he's doing his cars, and likes doing it (even uses leather-cleaner on my seats!)*still thanks me for cooking each night, even though I've been doing it for 4 years*let's me be an individual, and doesn't hassle me if I spend lots of time with friends or family*caught him covering me up with the sheet the other night, after he had realized he had become the sheet-hogger and was trying to make up for it.

letting me puke on him.going to the gym. nuff said.when charlie died, we were both walking around the backyard in the dark calling his name. at the same time, and from opposite directions we spotted a non moving ball of fur in the grass and i thought it was really cute that he extended his arms out like a blockade telling me to close my eyes and go inside while he checked to see if he was still alive. it was like he didnt want to traumatize me or something.

he's so blind to other women that I have to point them out (which is sometimes very annoying. eg- I like that girls shirt! 'what girl?' the hot one 'I didn't see her' well she's gone now!)he does the little things I ask without questionhe automatically makes a spot for me to cuddle in

I love these. So Sweet.* random texts that say simply say 'thinking of you'.* calling me late in the evening to come over and stay with him because he's lonely and sleeps better when I'm there. haha and not for a booty call :P* Will call and tell  me he put money into my account. Just because he thinks I deserve a "treat".* has a funny way of making me feel better when I have a nightmare.

aww this thread makes me smile..you guys are all so adorable. My FI cooks elaborate dinners for me almost every night..except for when he's either taking me out or I FORCE him to allow me to cook lol. Which reminds me..once he rode a bicycle to my job, which was over an hour away, just to make sure I had lunch. He stays up late at night helping my kids with their homework because I have to get up at 5 am...(he's lucky and works from home)..he also is just an awesome dad in general to them..he's just there for them in every way possible and refers to them as his kids...not his step kids..which means so much since they too have an absent dad.He takes very good care of me when I'm sick..getting medicine for me, making hot soups and juices..whatever I need..or just holding me in whatever angle is most comfortable for me to sleep in all night so that I can breathe if I'm stuffy and stroking my hair or rubbing my back.He moved across the country from Canada to be with me, leaving all his friends and family behind..realizing we cannot see them very often. He goes to my dad's and fixes his computers repeatedly or his furniture or helps with anything he needs..without ever complaining...and to the rest of my family for that matter.ugh I can go on all night..he's amazing :) I know I've been very blessed.
