Hey girl!Thanks for sending me your flower info the other day!  I was told to ask you to post a picture of your cake...I'm not planning on a huge guest list, but I want a huge, gorgeous cake.  Primo suggested a few fake tiers and said you had done this?Who did it for you, what was your total cost for the cake, and will you post a picture of it pretty please??!!Thanks!

I can't remember what the total was for my cake, but our cakes combined was $1,535[img]http://i34.tinypic.com/357n586.jpg[/img][img]http://i34.tinypic.com/256wnip.jpg[/img]Cakes by Gina did our cakes, she was really great to work with, esp since our wedding fell on the weekend she had a booth at the bridal extravaganza - she did DH's birthday cake for him in July too, he doesn't even like cake that much and we are still arguing over whos tasted better...

OOOhhh!!  How gorgeous!  Thanks for the info!  We are definitely booking with Cakes by Gina- she was at the Paraiso Maravilla open house the other night and we looooved her work and the taste.  My FI isn't really too big on cake or sweets and after we tasted hers he was like OMG, that was so good, we ARE booking them! Good to know she has experience with the fake layer thing. :)How many people did you guys have at your wedding... just wanting to get an idea of what that size cake feeds according to bakers.How many did your hubby's cake feed?

Thanks! DH's Cake: 8 inch top, 14 inch bottom 5 dozen strawberries and it was set to feed 130My cake: 20 inch bottom fake layer, 18 inch, 14 inch 10 inch, and then the top was 6 inch and was made to feed 262 (minus the top layer of course)We had 300 at our wedding, she did not make the cakes to feed 300 since by that point people might have left, etc...but we did run out of both. I do not think we remembered to tell the caterers that the bottom layer was fake - or people just went back for seconds lol
