    What about going with a canopy/arch with colorful florals and draping, instead of all white??  Also, this is a little more substantial than the one above, which might make the space look more elegant.

    What about hanging sheer fabric behind and or around you. If it is a later ceremony / maybe some lights behind the fabric.

    Creating a cabana style alter decorated with cloth and ribbons in your wedding colors would really dress up that area. You could also place vases around with large sprays of flowers and some potted green plants to add more height.

    Personally, I wouldn't do a lot with it. It's going to be pretty with natural beauty already. If electrical outlets are available, you could drape the railings with fabric and string lights or use electric candles. See my bio; we did something similar.
