Galveston Rehearsal Dinner

Hi All! We are having our wedding weekend in Galveston, a very special place to my family. Many of the groom's guests are from Nebraska, so we would like to show them all aspects of the island. The ceremony is at St. Patrick's, and the reception is at The Tremont (The Strand), so I would like the rehearsal dinner to be on or viewing the water. Do ya'll have any suggestions? The groom's father is paying, so, ahem, I'd like it to niiiiice (and expensive). Thanks!

    We had ours at Fishermans Wharf which is on the Harbor near the strand. We had the room that had floor to ceiling windows with views of the water. It was really nice!!!

    I don't have a recommendation on a place near the water but have a great place near the Tremont House, which would help all of your out of town guest (all wedding locations would be located very close to each other). It is called the Bienville Social. I also got married in Galveston with the wedding at St. Patrick's and our reception at The Tremont House. You have great taste :^)

    My brother and sister-in-law just opened this venue up and it has received great reviews. It is located a block away from the strand and it is designed for smaller more intimate wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. It is very well priced and gorgeous!
