Tipping

Hey ladies quick question....

So as I'm preparing all my tips for the weekend, I was just wondering when do you give all the envelopes out?? Obviously for like DOC that's given at the end of the evening. But what about photographer and videographer?? Do you tip that day, or do you wait to receive the finished product??

Thanks for the help!

I believe I gave out tips that day.  Who knows, they may work even harder for you if you tip :)

Wait, you're supposed to give a tip too??  On top of the huge amount of money I already paid?  Whaaa...  My budget is already so stretched.

So what's the average amount?  Does is go by percentage?

I believe I gave them about $50 each.

Tips are NOT required, but I did it to those vendors that went above and beyond.  Tips should be given at the end of the event.  You can assign someone to pass them out at the end of the evening.  :)

Oh ok, $50 doesn't sound bad.  I thought it was like 20% of the total or something.  Can you tell me if this applies to all vendors?  Caterer, baker, DOC, florist, DJ, makeup/hair person?
