Has anyone tried negotiating F&B mins? Any luck?

    Yep. We did it. But then we had some leverage points as well... for example, we aren't getting married on a Saturday.

    I did it too. I wanted no alcohol and and minimum dropped about $2000

    F&B Minimums are commonly negotiated, depending on your location.  Care to share which location you are talking about?

    shelly0921, I'm looking into Northgate Country Club. Their F&B min is $9000 for a Saturday evening.

    Country clubs are usually really good in helping out. Maybe ask them about the member's F&b min and if you could get their special.

    I think a lot of places will work with you on the F&B minimum.  My wedding planner, Claudia from A Day to Remember, negotiated with most of the places we looked at.  Can't hurt to ask!

    yes i did--however they are willing to negotiate in the offseason--that is something to look into. ( F&B mins go down by half)
