Where to look for shoes?

So, I am going to wear flats to my wedding for two reasons.
1. I am 5'11" and Chris is 6'0" so heels just won't work
2. I walk like a newborn giraffe in heels and I truly don't think that I can acquire the knowledge (and balance) required for heels in the next seven months.

*FYI: I am totally envious and jealous of you ladies that walk like gracious gazelles in 4 inch heels. Ku-Dos.*

Anyways. I need ideas as to wear to look for shoes. They have to be either ballet flats or essentially no heel, and I am looking to find some that are colored or are able to be dyed. I know that Etsy is a viable option, but I have a big foot as well. I usually am pushing a size 11-12 depending on the week so I would LOVE to be able to try them on before buying them.

Thank you for your help in advance!
And now we are as one

Brucettes.  There's a store in the Galleria and in Clear Lake.  They are expert at fitting special sizes in great shoes.  I'm an 8 double-wide shoe with really high arches so I'm a mess when it comes to shoes.  My Mom's an 11 narrow.  Both of us have had amazing success at Brucettes and the staff are very helpful.

I bought the Molly touch up bridal shoes (they are ballet flats) that can be dyed, online.

It's online but I got these, they run small and they don't have half sizes. I'm normally at 7.5 so I got the 8 and it fits well. If you order them early enough you could exchange sizes.

I got mine at shoesofprey (dot) com.  They'll do CUSTOM shoes that you design yourself and have SO many cute flat options!  Oh, and they also guarantee that they're comfortable.  If you don't like them, you send them back and get your $ back or they will work on them until they are right.  All of this for $230 (not bad compared to designer shoes) and worth the price to be comfortable!  Have fun on their website!

    Good luck!

I got mine at Macy's but I also checked out DSW, piperlime.com and zappo's. All had a huge selection.

I ordered dyeable shoes on www.shoebuy.com. If you google you can find a coupon!  Plus they do FREE returns so you can order them, get them , try them on, and it doesn't cost anything to exchange for a different size - all it takes is the few days it takes to ship them!

Shoes.com! They have wide and narrow sizes.  Plus, you can find 20% coupon codes, and they're already a lot cheaper than order directly from the company.
