This weekend we went out and created our registry. It was fun but by the end of it, I was exhausted. So in order to lift myself up, we booked the honeymoon! We're going to St. Lucia and staying at Jalousie Plantation! SO exciting!!!

Congrats on getting the registry done and booking your HM...how exciting! I did all my registering online and have since decided that I want to redo it....I guess I should really get that done.

The registry thing is freaking me out - not sure which stores to choose. How did you choose? Crate & Barrel does that fun event for Brides and Grooms on Sundays..we're considering doing that.

We did Crate and Barrel (loved the mimosas and paninis!) and Macy's. FI and I have been living together for 3 years and accumulated a ton of mish-moshed dishes/flatware/glasses. We want to start fresh. C&B had lots of kitchen things we liked and Macy's had all of the more expensive kitchenware. Macy's has good sales so I was thinking of my guests when I chose them. Our pots and pans were 40% off this weekend. HTH!

Great advice! Yes, we prefer to choose places with our guests pockets in mind. I think it will be between Macy's and Crate & Barrel/Target/Kohl's.
