Dress help

I'm new around here and need a bit of assistance.  I'm a size 16W and have been having the most difficult time finding any dress shop that carries plus sized samples.  Everything I've seen has been sizes 6-10 and clearly, I am not that size, and me holding the dress in front of myself does it no justice.  Are there any dress shops that carry plus sized samples in RI? I believe Botticelli in Providence has plus size samples. I think some of the ladies here have bought dresses there.

Bridal and Gift in North Attleboro had a lot dresses in plus sizes to try.  I got mine there and they were great!!!! Good luck!!!

I am also a plus size. I started out with Davids to get an idea. I am from Ct. but moved here so needed help with stores also. I had gone to Wishing Well in East Providence and cannot say enough about them. I found plus size dresses to try on and it was great. I had an experience at other shops of having them hold the dress in front of me, but like you said, it does no justice. They had tons of plus sizes and the prices were the best. Def. check them out. Weekends are crazy there. You do not need an appointment so that is great also. I am hoping to order my dress right after Thanksgiving. HTH

I am around your size as well and Botticelli's in North Providence was EXCELLENT! I felt great going there after experiencing the same problems that you did! I definitely recommend visitng them, but they have a limited number of dresses. I also went to Wishing Well Bridal in East Providence and they had a ton of Plus Size Dresses (and tehy have all of the dresses arranged by sizze). I also loved that you didn't need an appointment (as was stated) and they had pictures of each dress hanging on the outisde of the bags that the dresses are in. That was really helpful to know what the dress looks like without taking it out of the bag. If you go to these two places, I think you will feel a LOT happier about the process! Have FUN!!!!!!! I would also suggest Wishing Well.  The ladies who work there are SO NICE and they remember your name.  They're open until 9pm, even during the week.
