outdoor ceremony shoes

For those of you who are having your ceremony outdoors on grass, are you wearing heels? Or for any experience brides out there, I would love some opinions on what types of shoes you wore. I have seen those plastic pieces that go on the heels (suposed to prevent you from sinking into the grass) but I'm not sure they work and they are kinda pricey. Any ideas? Thanks :)

    I was wondering the same thing. If it is a dry year and the ground is hard we shouldn't have to worry about sinking in. I really don't want to wear flats. I found some of those plastic things online for about $9 a piece and was wondering if I should just buy them.

    yeah, I think I might just order them too. Although I haven't found shoes yet, I know I want heels...let me know if you think of anything else!

    I am getting married outside as well. I was thinking of the plastic things or picking out a shoe that has a wedge heel.  That way, it won't sink in the ground.

    they are called sole mates...  i've been checking them out as well!
    i feel like they are a lil pricey for silly lil pieces of plastic, but i guess its worth it to save your stilettos!
