Crown Plaza Lake Placid

Hi Girls, In a fit of complete freak-out-ness, we are actually considering changing our venue for our October 2010 wedding from Lake George to Lake Placid. Its too long a story to recount here, but I was curious if anyone has dealt with the LP Crown Plaza for a wedding, and how it went. We have been received promptly and professionally so far, and are interested in any further input. Thanks! lynnie

    I haven't dealt with the Crown Plaza for a wedding, but FI and I stayed there a few years ago over Columbus Day weekend.  It was beautiful, and we had a great stay.  (Lake Placid is so nice that time of year!)  Also, on a side note, you should check out the Veranda restaurant next door.  The food is AWESOME.  It would make a great rehearsal dinner spot.  GL!
