Ceremony Songs for a Soloist

Hi there!

Does anyone have any good ideas for a wedding ceremony song to be sung by a soloist? We are getting married in a Lutheran Church (not quite as strict as Catholic) and the Music Director said we could choose any song we want from popular culture within reason. He suggested Shania Twain's: From this Moment - which I love - but I am just curious if anyone else has any other ideas? I would like to be a little different. . . .

    At what point of the ceremony are you looking for them to sing? While the guests are entering, while you are entering, when you are exciting, or a different point.

    Our best man is a very good singer and is doing Ava Maria while we do our unity candle lighting

    Our soloist sang 'When you say nothing at all' by Alison Kraus. He sang it while signed the marriage certificate and registry.
