Which Photographer should I chose?

Hi!
My fiance and I are in the process of trying to find an affordable photographer for our wedding. 

3 he likes right now are Norman Garret with Thanks for the Memories, Jason Speros, and Kristi Wright. 

What do you all think about these?  My fiance really likes unique and interesting shots, photojournalist style.  Also, does anyone else have any recs?  Budget is a big concern, we are trying to keep it under 2k.  We are from outta town so we are trying to limit the number we actually visit in person.

I feel your pain, but I selected mine totally by internet and then had video conference! They got my vote because they had that option.  I did have my parents  and a brother check them out. Two things I like, my budget is way under 2K, they (meaning two photographers) offer a live fun photo station with all their packages. I couldn't afford a traditional spit out the picture type booth...so thought this was a neat option. They have a blog with samples, I am not sure I can explain it - J. Mark Photography

Out of those three I'd have to pick Norman with Thanks for the Memories. I've also heard good things about him on this board and from others I know. I wasn't a fan of the other two.

i've never heard of the other two but kristi wright is a familiar name and i love love love her stuff. she's kind of new to the biz so i think her prices will definitely be going up this year. i've looked through her site and just really love the pictures she gets. she'd be a bargain!

we're thrilled with our pics from jake holt...and he worked within our budget. i agree with the comment to go with your gut.  i would also recommend asking photogs about working within whatever budget you have...even if their website pricing is higher.  we found that most could work with us when we were looking.

Thanks everyone!  We definitely added Elizabeth James to our list of photographers to meet (ok, well, we replaced Jason Speros) and we have those three all lined up to go visit soon!  Thanks for all the advice about dealing with budget, very helpful!  I am hoping these will work with us:)

My fiance and I had a wonderful experience with Hyde Park Photography for our engagement photos on UT campus. Brad Lemon is the photographer. Affordable, accommodating, and so nice!
