What to wear?

Hoping some of you ladies can help.
One of my best girls is getting married at The Manor, in W. Orange. I live in Cali, and weddings out here are so casual, that I forget just how dressy NY/NJ weddings can be (I'm originally from NY). Anyone familiar with the place? I think DH needs a suit, yes? What would you wear to a 6pm wedding in March?

    I haven't been to a wedding there, but night weddings are usually a little more dressier than an afternoon. Go with a little black dress, you can't go wrong. Good luck!

    You should post this on the Central/NNJ board--many that have gotten married there use that board.  Without having gone there, I would say that he should wear a suit and you should wear a cocktail dress.

    I would wear a cocktail dress/semi-formal. Agreed you might get a better response on the NJ board. I am getting married in South Jersey where FI and I grew up but moved to North Jersey actually the next town over from The Manor, it is a gorgeous place! We had a work wine tasting there and it's very classy.
