Where did you have your shower?

Hey Ladies, I'm planning a shower in the camden/gloucester/philadelphia county area, we are still trying to figure out a venue, hall or restaurant, i'm just wondering if we could take a quick poll to see where everyone's shower is/was... please :o

My shower was at Bacio on 130 in Cinnaminson. The food was AMAZING and they do cooking demo's there so I actually did a demo with the chef for all the guests and prepared our lunch. It was a really cute idea because my FI is a chef. What type of place were you looking for? I had my sister's shower last year at the Tortilla Press in Pennsauken because she got married in Mexico. That location has since closed but they have another one in Collingswood and were fantastic to work with!!!

My shower was in Burlington County at Carlucci's Waterfront in Mount Laurel.  The food there is yummy and the people there were great.

My shower was at Elements Cafe on Station Ave. in Haddon Heights.  It only holds 40-45 people I think but everything was excellent!  They even made the cake in-house and it two-tiered and delicious!

Mine was at the Stone Grill on Blackwood Clementon Rd. The food was good and the room was a good size with space to move around. I think there were about 60 people there.

Mine was at Cater2U in Mount Laurel and it worked out well since my family is from more Central Jersey and all FI's family is from Philadelphia, KOP area...Summer - I've always wanted to go to Elements but have never been there!

I just had my shower at Filomena's in Deptford last Saturday.  They did a great job with everything however; my MOH said the banquet person there was absolutely awful to work with - like impossible to get a hold of and she flat out refused to work via email.  The email thing is just ridiculous and really complicated things for my MOH considering she lives in AZ and there's a 3 hour time difference.  Again, the did a GREAT job and the place is very nice, just be forewarned about the banquet person there.  Filomena's on Blackwood-Clementon Road is also very nice.  I held a shower there for another wedding I was in and they did a great job with it, we're having our RD there and the banquet lady there, Peg is awesome to work with.  GL!

My shower was at the Blue Grotto Italian Grill in Voorhees.  Our rehearsal dinner was at Toscana in Cherry Hill.  I recommend either place and they're both BYOB.

The Painted Cottage Cafe in Collingswood is also a great location.  We had our RD there because we wanted something a bit more laid back and wanted to avoid Italian food since we were serving that at our wedding.  The room is so quaint and the food was delicious! Pumpkin--my shower was a complete surprise--I didn't even know about Elements before that but I want to go back for lunch sometime!

My shower was held at Tomasello Winery in Hammonton, it was great!  The food was delicious and the service was excellent.  It was white glove service with a family feel.  They were so helpful, they even loaded our cars up with all the gifts :) I 2nd NYgirl on Pine Hill.  We held our RD there and the food was outstanding, great service!
