nwr-**Early Childhood Teachers**

I'm taking a course in childhood development in order to receive my certification in Family and Consumer Sciences(aka home ec.) and I need some information from early childhood teachers(under 6-7th grade preferably). As a teacher/educator, how do you practice being reflective? What determines if a lesson/activity was effective? Also how do you meet the needs of individual students? And lastly, how is daily practice influenced by being reflective? I substitute throughout the local high schools here and don't have opportunities to observe elementary/middle school classes and would like to hear your thoughts on those questions, I'm sure they differ from mine! Thank you!
