Well I am back to work from a nice long weekend and I thought the best thing to do at work is make a knottie poll!   :-)1) How did you come up with your knottie name?2) How often are you on the knot? Once a day, once an hour at work, any free moment at work, etc3) Did you find any of your vendors on The Knot? If so, who?4) What's the best advice you have ever gotten from a fellow knottie? 1) How did you come up with your knottie name? I couldn't come up with anything original at the time so I went with my state, the fact that I am a girl and my age at the time! :-)2) How often are you on the knot? Once a day, once an hour at work, any free moment at work, etc.  I usually check in about once an hour while I am at work if I am not busy and sometimes more often if there is a lot of activity on my favorite boards3) Did you find any of your vendors on The Knot? If so, who? I found my photographer (Jeanandstevephotography) , videographer (Kenneth Stillman), invitation place (Simply Inviting), and my hair & makeup person (Karen Capcino) all from The Knot4) What's the best advice you have ever gotten from a fellow knottie? What's the worst?Best advice-You're FMIL is not paying rent, so don't let her stay in your head!Worst advice- (Not given to me personally) Don't eat anything on your wedding day so that you don't have stomach issues

1. Its my nickname because my name is Shakima. 2. All the time lol. When I log onto the computer its my homepage lol. 3.Yes, I got a reccomendation to my videographer. 4. from nygirl- because i was going to just go off and get married at the JOP becaause everyone was stressing me out espcially my FMIL and she told me not because this was going to be my day. I dont think I had any bad advice , all you ladies have wonderful advice so I listen to everyone.

Once a day, once an hour at work, any free moment at work, etc At least once a day, more often when I'm at work or have free time 3) Did you find any of your vendors on The Knot? If so, who? Not yet. Found DJ company by reception recommendation but have gotten positive feedback here about them which helped me decide for sure. Company is DJ's Available. 4) What's the best advice you have ever gotten from a fellow knottie? What's the worst? Best Advice - when taking a dip picture let your arm hang down naturally Worst (not really advice) - people calling other people's ideas stupid, tacky, etc.
