I need your opinion! Chairs - Do they make or break a deal?

Hello ladies,

Just doing a little research!

If a venue offered a chiavari chairs at no extra cost would you be more or less inclined to consider hosting an event there?

I picked the middle option.  If I was at a venue and I hated the chairs I'd have to do something about it.....but it wouldn't stop me from picking the venue just I'd have to budget to change the chairs.

If a venue I really liked offered the chairs for the included price I'd be thrilled.  I look at details like chairs (if they are stained, ugly, etc.) when I'm at the weddings of other people so it was something important to me.

This might sound bad but the chair thing was a really big deal for me... mostly because I absolutely despise chair covers so they were absolutely not an option for me. We looked at one venue that had AWFUL chairs but thankfully there were lots of other reasons not to like them as well... If they offered the chivari chairs at no extra cost it would be an item on the pro list for the venue.

You sound so much like me.  I hate the look of chair covers so I was thrilled when The Merion's chairs were lovely and so comfy.  We almost changed to having the clear plastic chivari chairs but it was going to be such a pain in the butt so we used the basic Merion chairs.

I voted for the third option.  No one will remember what your chairs looked like.  Heck, I don't even remember what MY chairs looked like!
