Day of help

I just threw this timeline together and was hoping to get some input from some fellow brides :)

Just a few notes: FI and I are staying together the night before the wedding (we've lived together for years). So the morning of, I am going to the venue to get ready with the wedding party and the groomsmen are going to our hotel room to get ready with my FI. I have 4 BMs and he has 4 GMs. Our ceremony and reception are at the same location. It kind of hard to describe, but after the ceremony, guests will exit the venue and my FI and I will then exit and get into the limo with our wedding party. The guests will then go back inside (while everyone is outside, we have people setting up the tables and that should only take 20-30 min). We are going to ride around for about half an hour (I dont want a cocktail hour or any lag time in between).

8:00 Wake up/Shower
8:30 Breakfast
9:00 Get taken to venue
9:30 Hair/Make Up (Bride-H&M, MOH-H&M, BM-H&M, BM-M, BM is getting ready on her own, FMIL-M, Mom-M?)
                H = Hair
                M= Make Up
                Hair will take roughly one hour, make up will take roughly 45min
12:00 Eat Lunch
12:30 Get dressed
1:00 First look (Just FI, me, and photogs)
1:30 Pictures (In the venue and downtown area, also in Gpas car)
3:00 Return to venue
4:00 Ceremony
4:30 Guests and wedding party go outside for ribbon send off
4:40 Bride and Groom exit venue, venue changed to reception, food can start being prepared/set out
4:45 Wedding party ride in limo downtown, guests make their way back inside
5:15 Wedding Party returns to venue
5:30 Wedding party introduction to reception
6:00 Dinner
7:00 Toasts
7:30 First Dance, other dances (Deejay has list of which dances and in what order garter toss, etc is)
8:00-10:30 Dancing/mingling
11:00 Last dance, bride and groom leave (in Gpas car?)

Have you figured out the exact schedule for everyone?  I'd recommend merging H&M, lunch and getting dressed time all into one blob to stagger the H&M out.  You can just get a sandwich tray or something and people can grab a bite as they have time.</strong></div><div>

  • We have one MUA and hair person. So while someone is getting their make up the other can be getting their hair done. I agree with merging the getting ready and lunch into one blob- that'd be a good idea.

    Its going to take a few minutes to get everyone outside the venue. So I accounted for 10-15 minutes to get everyone outside and 10-15 minutes to get everyone inside. Set up for the reception will start as soon as guests start leaving to go outside.

    As of now, we don't have a rain plan. I will have to look into that.

    The 15 minutes while we drive around- the guests will be getting back inside and getting settled into their seats.
