Wedding Vows & Ceremony Discussions

I need help finding a place to get married!

So here is the DL on my situation, I am baptized and had my first communion but never got confirmed. My fiance doesn't want to get married in a catholic church unless we have a catholic ceremony. Which they wont do unless I am confirmed (I am looking into that now)
But does anyone know of any churches/chapels that will host a wedding near/around 23060 zip code? I tried the Glen Allen Church of Christ and they will only do weddings for members, and I am going to call one of the local Presbyterian churches to see if they will let us use their space. Please help I am stressed out beyond belief and it is putting a strain on us.

Our reception is going to be at the Montpelier cultural arts center and my parents live in Glen Allen so we don't want to be close to Glen Allen. Thank you preemptively for your help.

You should consider posting this on the local board for that region.  This is an international board, and most people aren't going to have any knowledge of your area.

To the bolded part.  Wedding planning shouldn't be putting a strain on your relationship. If it is, you may want to consider doing something a little more simple.

ETA:  You can always have a nice outdoor wedding, and get your marriage affirmed by the church at a later date after you handle your confirmation obligations.

I thought i posted it on the local board, thanks!
The stress is from my mother/and so much more than just the ceremony. But we are taking a mini vacation this weekend to help unwind some.

[QUOTE]Is there a Unitarian Universalist fellowship nearby? UU ministers will marry anyone, and you don't have to be a member.  JPs will come to your site, too. Call the county clerk. They usually have a list of local officiants.  Call the local convention and visitor's bureau or chamber of commerce. They will also have information on local wedding venues.
