Hahaha!!

Overall it went greatttt!! It didn't really hit me until after everything when we were driving home and then I turned into a bubbling mess but for the most part it was perfect.
The RD was pretty stressful, my family actually missed the rehersal itself. H's (yayyy!) sisters were drunk and sunburnt. But overall it was good.
The day of the wedding I was cooler than a cucumber. We were under a tornado watch almost all day but the weather was perfect! It didnt rain until we got home! (still on the 3rd so we still get good luck!!). Our get away car was 45 minutes late and we ended up getting comped for it since he was horrific, but all in all it was perfect. I'm definitely glad we didn't elope! It was all really worth it. Yesterday we were exhausted and didn't do much except for start on thank you cards (which are about half way done).
Today we went to the SSA office and did my name change, changed H's page 2 and got my ID. Tomorrow we are doing the Tricare Office and the Tax Collectors (DMV)'s office and Navy Federal.

Any details you all want? I don't think any one has posted pictures on FB yet or our website but i'll double check. I do have a picture of my bouquet I can post tho.

I need picturessss! I am so happy to hear that the wedding was good for you! Yes, the rain afterwards does count as good luck!!! LOL!!!
I am jealous of how on top of it you are about.. well, everything. I JUST changed my name this week! HA HA HA! Oh, and TY notes went out a whole month after the wedding X( but whatever! HA HA HA!

You fill out the SSA form (SS5) - link - http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/315/~/change-a-name-on-a-social-security-card
 You go to the courthouse first, get your marriage license certified, then you go to the Social Security Office and fill that out - get a form verifying your social this will have your maiden name on it - and have the print off form showing your new name and saying you applied for the card as well (they'll give this to you).

Then we went to PSD to change his Page 2 and then the PSD to get my ID - I needed my birth certificate for this, my DL, both forms I said above and our marriage license.

Then you'll go to DMV - each state is different - we are doing this and the Tricare office tomorrow to get me enrolled. HTH!

Well shitt no wonder you're getting it all done so soon! They're handing everything to you THAT DAY?!? UGH I hate CA. I have to wait 2 wks for my SS, it took 2 1/2 months to get an Marriage Certificate, and who knows how long it's gonna take for the DMV to get my new license to me

OH, and I have to send my marrige cert. to the passport people, which means I have to wait to get that back before I even see the DMV! BOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I didn't know you had to get your marriage license certified. My church said where to get it and bring it in like 2-3 weeks before the wedding. That's all I know so far haha

Oh my lanta!!! That is just insane!!!

We went to the Courthouse, at 9, they certified it in 2 minutes, social security took an hour, and then Eriks admin PSD for the page two took the longest. We're just exhausted so we're waiting till tomorrow to finish the rest since I needed to get some work done. It was definitely something we couldn't wait 2+ months on.

I can't wait to AW some wedding pictures!! This is the pic of my bouquet, and it doesn't even do it justice!
