Creative Help Needed: I Need A Costume!

Okay, I'm officially going out in DC this weekend for Halloween. And as such, I need a costume. My bumblebee costume doesn't fit since I lost a crapton of weight. So, thoughts? Something I can make would be preferable, as I'm on a budget here. But skankalicious and clever would be good things.

Thanks in advance :)

That would be awesome. But, it probably would take too long. And I'm down to like a size 4-6 from a 10-12. Sorry, not trying to brag. But that's why my freaking sexy bumblebee costume doesn't fit anymore. Stupid weightloss.

Tom Cruise from Risky Business. White socks, briefs, and a white button-down shirt. Hot and funny.

[QUOTE]I'm no help because I don't really get the whole "sexy" costume thing. This is probably evident by my costume of choice this year: flannel pajamas and antennas (I'm going as a bed-bug).

We're doing the Nightmare on M Street bar crawl.

I initially was thinking a silver leotard and a fin with some bright red lipstick and I could be a shark. But, I'm not sure if that's too lazy.

    ETA: Liv, that's adorable. :)

In light of your amazing weight loss . . . you could go as a personal trainer. You just wear workout clothes (as skanky as you please!), grab a stop watch and maybe one of those cones that you yell through if you really want to go all out. Then give people work out directions a la Jackie Warner or Jillian Michaels!!

What? Lazy? No way! That's awesome for you. You could carry around a big bag of Sweedish Fish and eat them the whole night too.

I love the Swedish Fish idea.

Wear a robe and slippers and maybe a nightgown. Get some cheap curlers from Wal-Mart or something, sprinkle flour or baby powder in your hair and smear on some whoreish makeup. Voila - you're a trailer trash housewife. Bonus points of you have a can of beer for your robe pocket. Extra bonus points if you give yourself a pregnant belly.

One of the best costumes I've ever seen ... a girl wore a long trenchcoat and that covered a flesh-colored body suit with a bathing suit bottom, Mardi Gras beads and nipple tassles. Whenever someone asked her what she was, she would throw the coat open and say, "GIRLS GONE WILD!" Really simple, and f*cking hilarious. If you have a long coat and don't mind showing off your hawt sexeh bodeh, I suggest that =)

Some cute ones I've seen you could do on the cheap:

Roadkill - black top and legging with reflective tape up the middle (to make road lines). Pin stuffed animals all over you.

Zombie Prom Queen/Zombie Miss America - get a prom-style dress from Goodwill and dirty-shred it all up. You can easily find a sash, tiara and flowers at Party City or the like. Mess up your hair, a little zombie makeup, and you're set.

80s - a pair of leggings, some scrunchy socks, a bright colored t-shirt with the neckband cut out, some tennis shoes. Ponytail and 80s makeup and you're set.

Spring Break Girl - skintone leotard with a tank and "censored" sign glued to it.

I've done some easy cheap costumes, like a kitten or mouse getting the ears and tail kit I would wear black fishnets and usually a dance body suit and heels.

You can make anything into a zombie. My dance teacher was zombie Sarah Palin, and it was awesome.

Getting random crap from Goodwill for a costume is always fun. How about '80s Madonna or other pop star. You can probably find stuff for that relatively easy and cheap.
