Insanity - Week 4, Day 1

Hi ladies! Today was Pure Cardio + Cardio abs. I only skipped one exercise (as opposed to two the last time I did this sequence). The burpees kill my back, so I skip them...

I felt really good today, only took a couple super short water breaks. I'm feeling stronger, even if I'm not seeing the results I want just yet. Though we had friends over yesterday and they told me I was looking more muscular... yay! Patience is a virtue, right? :)

How did you ladies do with your health and wellness goals this week?

Being indoors for the hurricane didn't help me this weekend and the gym was closed. However, I've started the couch to 5K running routine at a beautiful resevoir near my house on Monday and I feel great. My portions are under control and I've been preparing only healthy food at home. I feel way more energized. Your posts have super inspired me to get off my tuchus so I just wanted to say thanks Tiger!

Good job Tiger! It is always super motivating to feel yourself getting stronger and I think it feeds the addiction to keep going and try even harder next time.

I was horrible this weekend too. I have learned the hard way that I can no longer just eat a hamburger and fries and then Dairy Queen without feeling like I got hit by a bus the next day. I haven't eaten that horribly in a long time and my body is definitely not coping well, lol. I'm going to need to remember this for the next time I decide I'm going to have a guilt-free day and do what I want.

Glad I can be of some help, widget! :)

Ely - I felt that way Friday night/Saturday morning. I ate terribly friday, including a chocolate milkshake and cheeseburger for lunch. I felt like I had lead in my stomach for 24 hours. I guess that's a good thing though, right? My body is craving healthier foods!

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel. I do think it's a good thing. The important thing here is to remember how this feels and not do it again! lol. I also made it worse by taking my vitamins BEFORE my food, which doesn't work for me, so I was feeling nauseous too...and add sunburn, so I feel like I have a fever with everything so hot. I think I just need a nap, lol.

How's it going with your downstairs neighbor, Ely? Any more problems with them?

I haven't heard anything one way or the other about the note I left them, but I haven't gotten any calls from the landlord or anything. She even came out while BF and I were at the car and introduced herself and her daughter and acted all cheery ... don't know what that's about, but I'll take it. I'm all for playing nice for as long as we are in each others' space, lol.

When I do my lunch workouts, I do them in my bedroom and when I do my workouts after work I do them in the living room and it seems to work out ok that way, so I guess I'll continue like that until I hear otherwise.

Tiger - can you sum up all your insanity posts when you are done? It'd be fun to read them all at once
