We're Back!! PIP

First, before I get started with Jeana & I's dress shopping adventure, I want to say that Hughes Net (our internet provider) SUCKS!  I've been trying since yesterday morning to get on a post but it wouldn't let me :(

Okay! Now to the fun part.  As you've all probably read already, Jeana decided to cheer me up by taking me dress shopping today, which was totally awesome of her.  When I left this morning, I told FI that we were just going to look at dresses, so I could get an idea.  I never thought I'd find THE dress today!  After trying on about 4 or so dresses, I put this one on and well...I just refused to take it off.  In fact, we forgot about the other 2 dresses that were still hanging in the changing room.  I was nervous about making a decision, so Jeana had the bright idea of us going to lunch (where we had an AMAZING veggie burger and of course a cocktail to calm my nerves) so that I could think about it.  Afterwards we went right back to David's Bridal and I purchased the dress.  Oh, and as she said - I bought the one off the rack, so now I don't have to stress about waiting for it to come in. 

Soo....here's the pictures... Please try to disregard my double..er triple..chin ladies!   Oh, and I have a serious farmers tan (from getting locked out of the house the other day and sitting in the sun for 2 hours) but the lovely Jeana was able to calm that down with photoshop - THAAAAANK YOU!! 





My face looked TERRIBLE in this one...but I loved the picture of the dress... LOL

    Oh, kat.... Jeana tried some birdcage veils on me... I totally couldn't pull that look off like you can!

    So pretty and simple without being at all plain.

    Oh you are gorgeous! I am somewhat selfishly sad that you found your gown, I wanted to go. But really, you look just like you, but better and a bride. See you are dressing your body, and your body look FABULOUS. 

    I do chuckle, that dress looks suspiciously like Jeana's too. 

    Maybe we can accessories shop together?

    I know, it totally looks a lot like mine! LOL I said that when we pulled it off the rack. I was like "This is just like mine, except strapless and with a zipper!"

    It looks amazing, Jeter! I'm so glad you found it. You were seriously grinning so much wearing that dress.

    Jeter wouldn't take it off! She was just walking around, trying on veils and combs and talking about hair and shoes, and so on..... all while wearing that dress!

    BEAUTIFUL!!! You look awesome and I love the fact that you are REALLY smiling in the first picture. Who cares if you don't have a perfect posed smile...those are fake! You look great though, I'm so happy you found the dress and were able to go with jeana!

    AW Thanks girls!  I totally friggin fell in love with the dress.  Jeana is right - I was doing everything I could so I wouldn't have to take it off.

    Oh, and haha no I don't have an "itsy bitsy" waist - it's totally the dress that's making it look like I do - which is AWEEESSOOMMME.  So..now I'm just worried about getting these flabby arms and back in shape - all the other can be hidden with good ol Spanx and the dress.

    hetshup - I totally didn't think I'd find one today - I seriously thought I'd just get some ideas of what I like and don't like...but I just couldn't pass it up!!  And yes, we must accessory shop together!!  I'll need serious help with that because, as Jeana found out, I'm very picky and simple when it comes to accessories...
