Not Engaged Yet

Some people...

So I work at a popular coffee/cafe place as my weekend job. I really wish I could give out awards to some of the customers I deal with. Like today, Most Intelligent Question Award goes to this woman

"So what are your frozen drinks like? Are they like frozen and then I have to wait for it to thaw?"

Umm, what? lol. Where have you ever had a frozen drink prepared for you that you had to wait for it to thaw?

Today was cranky customer day, so I'm cranky now too.

Thanks, Audgie, I didn't want to sleep/get anything productive done tonight ;-)

I worked in customer service for a while. It's shocking how 99% of people I talked to, when asked what kind of credit card they were using, replied with the name of their bank. When is that relevant?

I feel you on the slow customers thing! I worked as a waitress in a restaurant for a few years, and I had some doozies.. my favorite was when a guest asked for "diet water."

The worst part was that she was serious. -facepalm-

I hope you're feeling less cranky today! =D

    LOL oh man, that's hilarious!

and the "diet water" reminds me of a customer one time in line in front of me at Taco Bell... so the lady walks up to the counter and asks them to put her tacos in a cup. *facepalm* my friend and I look at each other kind of trying not to laugh and the guy behind the counter just blinked at her and asked, "um, how do you want it in a cup?" The lady was completely rude about it, as if he was supposed to know or something, and was like, " I want the beef in one cup, the cheese in another and the tortillas separate. The rest of the taco I don't want. Can you do this right?" My friend and I were mimicking her behind her back and the guy was holding it in from laughing. When the lady left, us and the guy just started cracking up!

My favorite quote, and I have it posted at my desk at work, says: "Some people are alive simply because it's against the law to kill them".
